You've got a great sense of humor. I'd do this more often but I'm intimidated in a bar!HA

happy days ... that'll be $4.50.
virginia ... i guess i am beyond caring what people think any more ... however i did ask. if they woulda said no ... i would show them that i already shot it.
truth is ... with digital, most people are fascinated to see the immediate results. this was a very poorly lit area and they were surprised i had that much light. 3 seconds, no flash.
happy days ... here's your change.

Beautiful shot! I really like pictures taken with no flash. They have so much more depth and atmosphere. We were at one of our local restaurants last night that has great atmosphere--it was a pump house during the gold rush days. I didn't have a camera with me but I was wishing I did. Next time!

A while back my husband and I visited a tavern in Cape May, NJ called The Ugly Mug. Guess what that tavern had hanging from its ceiling? You guessed right .. hundreds of mugs!

Quick question.
I already know the answer...
Is your camera with you everywhere?
I often tease that you know how much someone loves photography if the only time the camera strap leaves the neck is to shower. Ü

my camera is with me 99% of the time. i am usually angry about the 1% because i may bump into someone that i don't have time to talk to and have no escape. if i have my camera i start taking photos of them and they want to leave ... and i can say ... good to see you mike ... sorry you have to go.

3 seconds? I might get it too bright if I took the picture. Haven't got the most out of my camera yet. Always love your subject photos.

In that case I'll have a chardonnay and hold the umbrella!HA

I really like this. I like trying new angels and taking photos of things others may not have thought of. Very creative. The colors are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Stemware as art, what a great idea! My question would be if you had to increase the ISO, I imagine it's a bit dark at the bar.

ISO 200, Shutter Priority, 3 second exposure, camera propped on the bar and lens propped on top of a glass to get the needed angle = instant tripod for long exposure.
