As a long time forest service and NPS employee and guide, I might have told you the same thing...however, and this is the first rule in visitor services they should have dug deeper. Get to know your audience. If I would have known you were a photographer, that tells me that you can see the subtle beauty that most others do not. You have to love the lupine on a moist day!

Stephen - I discovered your blog site through Jacqueline & Victoria's site 'Beauty in the Ordinary'. I think your photos are amazing and have so enjoyed looking at them. I recently bought a little Sony digital and tend to take it everywhere when I'm out and about. This photography thing is quite addictive but what a great way to share what's going on in someone else's part of the world !

Loved 'Photographer washed away', hope you were using a long lens for 'give us a kiss' those are some seriously scary teeth!! Fabulous backdrop to the purple heath,wonderful images.
