I thought Crater Lake as soon as I saw it also. Is that where the photo was taken?

julie & sunny ... you are correct. it is crater lake.
vivian ... you know me and my love for horsing around with color but this is just one of those places that is a bit like seeing the wizard of oz go from black and white into color after the tornado. crater lake is this color and i didn't have to alter it at all. i did drive around the rim of the crater picking spots at different times of the day where the blue got as deep as possible.
